How do I find inner peace?

I thought let me make this interesting...


Enjoyed my little creative doodle art? Alright..! I am often reminded by these verses from the bible. It is from the book Philippians, chapter 4...


4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!


But, WHY? (wanna go through the doodle once more?)

We all know how to rejoice and what makes us to be rejoiced. We’ll be glad when we accomplish our goals; when our dreams come true; when we see our success...but these are related to this temporary world. If you see here, its stated “Rejoice in the Lord”.

What does that mean?

It means WHATEVER it is, even when you go through the fear of death, rejoice in the creator who has the control of the entire universe. Are you feeling worried? Are your weary? Have your dreams failed? Have you been left alone? Have you been feeling unrest? Take heart and be glad that He, who holds the stars up in the sky, holds your future. He has seen your pain, tears, sorrows and is working through His perfect plan. Trust Him for you will encounter the peace of God in you.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27


OK...HOW?

5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

When you give your first priority to the Lord, you will be His first! So now you already have the peace of God within you but He has this unconditional love towards you and so he is offering himself i.e. God of peace will be with you.


So, WHEN?

8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

It can be really hard to meditate on these things but let me put it this way. When you are not sure of what you are thinking or doing, take a minute and compare it with the above things. You will get a way out.



Let me finish this with a note...

"God sees our brokenness and gives it meaning. He sees our pain and gives it purpose. He sees our wait and gives it reason. And He sees our future and gives it promise."

I hope that your soul finds rest in Him and let the Peace of God and God’s peace be with you all!
