What's your Grief?

We all know that our lives aren't bed of roses but there are some thorns that change our perspectives or break our inner- being. I consider the most crucial part of our life is the acceptance. There can be seasons where we happily accept changes but there are ones that can be really hard. Once we accept, we move forward with new mentality but when there's a delay in it, we go through a grieving period and that's when it gets tough. And I went through a process of grief when I lost my loving Uncle, lost a neighbour and lost my 5 cats all at the same time. It was very tough to walk on, especially the moment when I saw my kittens laying dead and when I saw one of my cats struggling to breathe. It is this grieving period that taught me things that I didn't even know I would acquire. Without this period, I wouldn't have deeply realised that love is a powerful and a strong feeling even when it comes to a pet. They had a strong emotional attachment with me. This made me realise that we don't often appreciate what we have. It's their absence that made me miss them more. When I laid there helpless just seeing my cat die, my heart stopped. I started reliving those moments and wished I had a little more time. This can be your thing right now. Either you are in the process of accepting the loss or you are grieving. I want you to remember, the time you had and the memories you made can never be erased. The story they left became your part of life and it will remain that way. Accepting what is will give you the power to overcome negative effects and there will be no stronger version of yourself. The word of God says, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea." Psalms 46:1,2
